I had a wonderful chance to try out new Musicians 2 plugin bundle and the wonderful Symphony Essentials by Native Instruments. I really liked the way these orchestral libraries were set up. Dynamics linked to mod wheel? Brilliant! Although, I have to admit, that omitting the velocity controls from the keyboard, and overwriting it with the dynamics knob feels a bit weird at first, but when you get used to it it feels very natural. Thumbs up for Native Instruments. Especially for the quality of the recordings. Sometimes I even thought that I really am conducting real orchestra… Kind of weird… In a pleasant way, of course.
